This website is operated by Mountain Artifacts. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mountain Artifacts. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, or contributors of content.

SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY & USE

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or have permission from a legal guardian.

You agree not to use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

SECTION 2 – CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Mountain Artifacts specializes in made-to-order, customized products.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All products are created based on customer-provided inputs (including text, GPX data, design selections, and customization choices)
  • You are fully responsible for reviewing and confirming accuracy before placing your order
  • Orders cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once submitted
  • Final products may vary slightly from digital previews due to:
    • Material differences
    • 3D printing limitations
    • Lighting and screen display differences
  • These variations are not considered defects

We are not responsible for errors provided by the customer, including but not limited to:

  • Misspellings
  • Incorrect data
  • Incorrect trail or location selection
  • Incorrect dates or stats

SECTION 3 – ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

All orders are subject to acceptance by Mountain Artifacts.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Suspected fraud
  • Incorrect pricing or product information
  • Supply or production limitations

Once an order is placed, it is final and cannot be canceled or modified.

SECTION 4 – PRICING & PAYMENT

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for all purchases.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carriers (USPS, UPS, etc.)
  • Weather or natural events
  • Customs or international shipping issues

Once your order is shipped, risk of loss transfers to you.

SECTION 6 – NO RETURNS / REFUND POLICY

Due to the custom nature of our products:

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Refunds or replacements are only provided if:

  • The item arrives damaged
  • The item is defective
  • The wrong item was sent

Customers must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photo evidence.

SECTION 7 – PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Our products are intended for decorative purposes only.

We do not guarantee:

  • Exact color matching
  • Exact dimensional tolerances beyond normal manufacturing variation
  • Identical appearance to digital previews

You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without written permission.

SECTION 9 – USER INPUT & DATA

By submitting any design, GPX file, or content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to use that data
  • You grant us permission to use it to fulfill your order

We are not responsible for ownership disputes related to submitted content.

SECTION 10 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Mountain Artifacts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use of our products
  • Use of our website
  • Errors in customer-provided data
  • Differences between digital previews and final products

SECTION 11 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The website will be error-free
  • Products will meet subjective expectations
